With over 20 years of culinary experience, my passion is to elevate every dish to the highest level. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, my journey began at Suehiro, a traditional restaurant where I developed a strong foundation in knowledge, discipline, and dedication.
I’ve had the privilege to work on notable projects such as the opening of Soki in Sinaloa and Sushi San in Puerto Vallarta, learning from renowned masters like Japanese Chef Katsumi Matsumoto. Additionally, I honed my skills while working with the culinary teams at Hilton Conrad and Hilton.
Now, as part of the Pitaya Project, my mission is to make Secreto the premier Japanese dining experience in Ventanas. By utilizing local seafood and ingredients from our own garden, we aim to provide exceptional service, unique flavors, and unparalleled attention to our guests.

I am originally from Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, and my love for cooking began in the local kitchens of my hometown. It was there that I discovered my passion for gastronomy, developing a deep respect for the art of cooking and its ability to convey emotion.
Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of exploring and learning from the diverse cuisines of Mexico, working alongside teams that taught me to express art, emotion, and love in every dish served. These experiences have allowed me to grow both professionally and personally, discovering more about myself along the way.
